Jannik Sinner’s marvelous streak: Chasing Federer, Nadal, Djokovic

Imagine winning 93 of the previous 100 matches! Jannik Sinner has been on that streak since the end of 2023, writing new pages of tennis history and joining tennis immortals. Since 1990, only Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal had more impressive runs!

Roger claimed mind-blowing 97 victories in 100 matches during his strongest streak. Novak almost matched that pace, conquering 95 of 100 encounters during his finest performance. As always, Rafa stands close to his greatest rivals after collecting 94 triumphs in his most dominant days.

Sinner has been on different level since the closing stages of 2023, leaving everyone behind and embracing one of the strongest runs in tennis history. If he wins the Rome Masters and reach the Roland Garros semi-final, Jannik will improve his record and stand on a 94-6 tally!

The young gun took charge in the second part of 2023, dropping only four matches after the Wimbledon semi-final. Sinner conquered Beijing and Vienna and reached the ATP Finals title clash before clinching the Davis Cup crown for Italy.

The Italian finished the season with a 13-1 streak since Vienna, marking the beginning of his incredible 100-match run. Sinner entered the 2024 season as world no. and conquered men’s tennis by storm! Jannik embraced a 73-6 run in the season behind us.

He collected eight ATP titles, seven on the hard court, and left everyone behind. Sinner kicked off the season with his first Major crown in Melbourne over Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev. Jannik took charge and won two more titles in Rotterdam and Miami.

The Italian became world no. 1 after reaching the Roland Garros semi-final, taking the throne away from Novak Djokovic. Sinner lifted a trophy in Halle and added more in Cincinnati and the US Open. The 23-year-old closed the year-end no. 1 battle but did not stop.

He claimed another title in Shanghai over Novak Djokovic and entered the ATP Finals as the top favorite. The home star defeated five rivals in straight sets, wrapping up the year with eight ATP titles! Jannik preserved energy and led Italy toward the Davis Cup title defense, finishing the season with 73 wins in 79 matches.

World no. 1 made a strong start to the 2025 season. He defended the Australian Open title in style after dropping two sets in seven encounters. The three-time Major winner made an agreement with WADA over his last year’s doping scandal.

Sinner will miss three months between February and May, and we will see him in action again at the Rome Masters.
