The ATP season is in its final part, with some prestigious titles yet to be awarded. There will be the Masters 1000 in Shanghai and Paris-Bercy, before the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin. After the Shanghai tournament, some of the best players on the tour will fly to Saudi Arabia for the ‘Six Kings Slam’ from 16-19 October.
Participants will be Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev and Holger Rune. Players will earn $1.5 million for their presence on the pitch alone, while the winner of the event will receive a dream prize money of $6 million. This event once again demonstrates the interest of Saudi Arabia to enter the world of tennis, being able to offer much higher figures even at the Grand Slam tournaments. According to many insiders, Saudi Arabia is in negotiations with ATP to organize a Masters 1000 at the beginning of the year.

To the comment of former Scottish champion Murray was also added that of Corentin Moutet who spoke with irony at the microphones of Le Parisien about the event and the promotional video they made to present the participants: “In fact, the teaser is more expensive than my prize money this year,” he joked on X. Corentin’s prize money in all his career has been $587,500 so far. The theme of exhibitions has been a huge topic in recent times after players like Alcaraz and Zverev complained about the ATP calendar being too long. US Open finalist Taylor Fritz also spoke on this topic, saying that exhibitions are much less strenuous than official events.
