Reitan, 26 years old from Lørenskog, achieved a score of 265 (65 64 68 68, -23) strokes and with the first success of his career, rising from 36th to seventh place in the ranking, he conquered one of the “cards” for the major circuit together with a cheque for 85,000 euros on a prize pool of 500,000 euros. He surpassed by one blow the Danish Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen and the Spaniard Angel Ayora, second with 266 (-22).

The only Italian in the competition was Gregorio De Leo, who offered a good performance, finishing in ninth place with a 275 (68 70 70 68, -13), but it wasn’t enough to get into the top twenty.

The winner, third three shots behind the leader Neergaard-Petersen after 54 holes, recovered with a 68 (-4, one eagle, four birdies, two bogeys), but the Dane had his say, leading after four birdies and a bogey in eleven holes, but made three errors in the next seven, with the last bogey at the 18th that denied him the playoff. In any case, he was crowned best player on the tour in 2024, a recognition he fully deserved, underlined by his early passage to the DP World Tour with his third title of the season won at the beginning of September.

In fourth place with 271 (-17) the Finn Oliver Lindell, in fifth with 272 (-16) the Dane Nicolai Kristensen and the Englishman Frank Kennedy, and in seventh with 273 (-15) the Frenchman Martin Couvra.

In the Road to Mallorca, as mentioned, Neergaard-Petersen prevailed (1,826 points), who preceded the Englishman John Parry (p. 1595), Lindell (p. 1,497), Ayora (p. 1,487), and the other Dane Hamish Brown (p. 1,477). Among the others rewarded with the ‘card’ the transalpine Alexander Levy (12th 9, exited the DP Tour at the end of 2023 after years of militancy and five victories. De Leo finished 33rd.
