Jessica Korda reveals when she might return to the golf course

Nelly Korda has been in great form on the LPGA Tour this season, winning seven times. Next year could be even more of a motivation for her, as she looks to break her previous record. Her sister, Jessica, on the other hand, is aiming to return to the LPGA Tour, but not until the 2026 season.

Jessica has not played golf since 2023, due to a back injury suffered after giving birth to her son. Korda told the media that she is doing her best to get back on the golf course, but she is aware that it is difficult to expect her to return to the golf course before 2026.

“I’m definitely itching to be able to play again; how much, I’m not so sure,” Korda said, as quoted by Pro Golf Now.

“I’ll take 2025 to assess, and then per our maternity, 2026 is kind of what we’re shooting for.”

Jessica Korda; I hit some tough shots that I was really proud of

The 31-year-old has already started her preparations, and the feeling when she picks up the golf club again is hard to describe. The popular golfer revealed that she hit some tough shots that she is proud of. The recovery process can be challenging, but her motivation and love for golf will overcome all obstacles.

“It was really nice to make some contact. I hit some tough shots that I was really proud of, clipping it nicely,” Jessica Korda continued.

The year 2026 could be specific for many reasons. A long absence can have consequences on the golfer, both physically and mentally. In addition, in a short period, many things change in the golf scene, and Jessica will have the opportunity to play with some new hopes of the golf scene. Regardless of all that, if you want to get back into the rhythm badly enough, nothing can stop you from doing so.
