Between 2004 and 2016, there were only two seasons without a player winning six big titles (2009 and 2012). After 2016, it became harder to accomplish this, with Murray losing form due to injuries and Federer, Nadal and Djokovic focusing at Majors.
They still competed well at the Masters 1000 level, but it was nowhere near their previous dominance. Novak Djokovic stopped the clock in 2023 and claimed six big ATP crowns at 36!
