After securing the rights to the PGA Tour until 2030, the Canal+ group, owner of the Golf+ channel, has acquired exclusive broadcasting rights to the new league created by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and their partners to attract a younger target audience.
TGL, results
CANAL+ and TGL presented by SoFi, the new team golf league founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TMRW Sports, have announced that they have reached an agreement: all matches of the league’s inaugural season will be broadcast on CANAL+ channels in France, as well as in Monaco, Switzerland, Andorra and sub-Saharan Africa.
This agreement covers the 2025 and 2026 seasons of this new golf entertainment, the first match of which will take place on January 7, 2025 at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
With the acquisition of TGL, CANAL+ remains more than ever “the Golf channel”.

As a reminder, Tech-infused Golf League offers matches by teams of three players. The competition format of this show is very far from the classic events that viewers are used to.
For 2 hours every Tuesday (and sometimes Monday), teams are invited to compete by taking on different challenges on a simulator, on completely imaginary holes.
TGL plans to welcome many spectators in order to offer an experience like no other.
In each match, two teams composed of three players (out of four possible) and each representing a city in the United States compete against each other.
The first 9 holes in a three-on-three Foursomes. Player 1 plays the first shot, player 2 plays the second shot, player 3 plays the third shot and so on. The teams decide the order of the players.
On the following 9 holes, the players play one-on-one matches. From the 10th to the 12th, player 1 of team A competes against player 1 of team B. From the 13th to the 15th, player 2 competes, then from the 16th to the 18th, it is the turn of player 3 to compete.
Distribution of points:
From the 1st to the 18th, each hole won earns the team a point. In the event of a tie on a hole, the score does not change and there is no transfer of points.
In the event of a tie at the end of the 18 holes, the two teams designate a player to participate in a precision competition on a shot. The one closest to the flag earns the decisive point for his team!
