Trouble for LIV Golf: Two star players, DeChambeau and Koepka, could leave the tour

LIV Golf, although they had the goal of attracting a large number of golfers to their side, it seems that they could live the opposite scenario. Namely, judging by the inscriptions of the British media, many of the golfers from the controversial Tour are not satisfied with the treatment, and the fact that they are still not entitled to OWGR points.

Popular names such as Brooks Koepka, Sergio Garcia and Bryson DeChambeau have their contracts expiring next year, so the question is in which direction everything will go.

LIV fans are not optimistic that probably the three most popular golfers of this Tour will stay, especially when we know that the final agreement between the two sides has not yet been reached.

Even greater concern, judging by the Express writings, is created by the fact that the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund could reduce global spending by as much as 12%.

If this trio decides to return to the Tour where it all began, the situation could become alarming and call into question the functioning of the Saudi-backed Tour. Although some expected that after many years of work, this Tour could attract well-known names from the world of golf, a year has passed since their last popular acquisition.

Eugenio Chacarra reacts

Eugenio Chacarra, a young golfer who a few days ago expressed his frustrations with the treatment at LIV Golf, wants to become part of the PGA Tour. The young Spaniard stressed that the leaders of LIV did not honor the agreement and fulfill the promises they made. The media around the world believe that his colleagues from the controversial Tour also share the same attitude.

“When I joined LIV, they promised [Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) points] and majors.

But it didn’t happen. I trusted them. I was the first young guy, then the others came after I made the decision. But OWGR and majors still hasn’t happened..”- he concluded.

PGA Tour officials are closely monitoring the situation, hoping they can come out victorious in this story.
