Andy Roddick has absolutely no doubt that Iga Swiatek will eventually figure out how to land Grand Slam titles outside the French Open as he is tipping the Pole to reach double digits in Slam triumphs.
After winning last year’s French Open, the 23-year-old improved to five Slam titles.
But outside of Roland Garros, the Pole has made only one Major final – during the 2022 US Open – when she beat Ons Jabeur for the title.

At this past Australian Open, Swiatek lost in the semifinal after failing to realize a match point in an absolute thriller versus Danielle Collins.
That led to some again bringing up the narrative that Paris is the only place where the world No. 2 can win on the Grand Slam stage.
“I don’t wanna hear your chirping about clay versus hard versus anything else. Iga is gonna win a handful of Grand Slams on surfaces that aren’t clay. She just will, she’s 23,” the 2003 US Open winner said on the Served with Andy Roddick.
“Oh, by the way, while she’s trying to figure that out, she’s gonna win like five French Opens. So save it, everyone’s better on one surface.
“It doesn’t mean that the Grand Slams count any less. So save that. You can have that.”
Roddick: Swiatek will win nine French Open titles and three or four other Slams
In a couple of months, the Polish tennis star will go for a four-peat at Roland Garros.
If she wins and also lands her fifth title at Roland Garros, she will come two triumphs away from tying Chris Evert’s all-time record of seven titles at the Parisian Slam.
Roddick thinks Swiatek will break that record but also win some other Grand Slams in the process.
“(Iga) is gonna win nine French Opens and she is gonna win three or four other majors,” the American tennis legend said.
“Where does that leave her on the all-time count? Save it. Some people are better on different surfaces.”
