Former Australian tennis player Rennae Stubbs has revealed that she knows what will happen to Jannik Sinner, during the CAS trial of next April.
The ATP world number 1, fresh champion at the Australian Open 2025 after beating Alexander Zverev in the final, awaits the outcome of the hearings at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in April after the two positive Clostebol tests found last year at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells.
The Italian tennis player was acquitted by the ITIA International Tennis Integrity Agency but, against this non-conviction, there was opposition from the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) with the Court of Arbitration for Sport that will discuss the situation in a session scheduled for April 16 and 17.
Taking this trophy home for a second time feels absolutely unreal!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ To my team and all of you who’ve cheered me on from every corner of the world – thank you! Huge respect to @AlexZverev for an incredible match 🤝🏻🤝🏻🤝🏻🇦🇺 @AustralianOpen pic.twitter.com/uWwH0PRxxg

Serena Williams’s coach fromer talked about the Sinner’s case and she said she has a clear opinion on what will happen after WADA appeal, expressing her strong disappointment with how the whole matter unfolded.
“This WADA situation is a joke. How can ITIA not attribute any blame to the player and then WADA comes months later and says: It’s not entirely satisfactory for us, we want him to pay for his team’s mistake. And – it should be added – in all this he won 3 Slams and we’ll wait until April. Are you kidding me? Do you think WADA is a good situation?”
Finally Stubbs went on to make her prediction on whether Sinner will receive a ban or not: “I guarantee you, be careful, I think they will disqualify him and it will be a terrible moment for tennis.”
