Novak Djokovic secured another incredible record! The 24-time Major winner is spending his 1000th consecutive week in the top-1000, joining Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal on the exclusive list. Roger stands on 1165 consecutive top-100 weeks.
Rafa is on 1029, and Novak will pass him in seven and a half months. At 37 years and eight months, Djokovic is among the oldest players in the top-200. The Serb is motivated to extend his career and chase more notable titles in the upcoming years.

Novak kicked off the 2005 season as world no. 186. A teenager conquered the San Remo Challenger in May and reached the third round at Wimbledon in July. Thus, he earned enough ATP points to find himself in the top-100 and start an incredible journey.
The Belgrade native scored two victories at the US Open and wrapped up the year in the top-80. The Serb collected 11 ATP wins in 2005 and counted 40 in the next season, lifting two ATP titles and cracking the top-20. Novak claimed his first Masters 1000 crowns in 2007.
