Agnieszka Radwanska is set to return to the WTA Tour as a coach after agreeing to join Magda Linette’s team.
The 2012 Wimbledon runner-up, who retired after the 2018 season, will reportedly be in the role as “consultant and second coach” but will accompany the current world No. 38 in at least “8-to-10 weeks.”
Also, it is being reported that their partnership will last at least through the end of the clay season. Then, they will decide whether or not to continue with their collaboration.
Agnieszka Radwanska joins Magda Linette’s coaching team as consultant and 2nd coach.
The initial assumptions for now: cooperation until the end of the clay court season and 8-10 weeks of direct working.

Radwanska coached a bit at the United Cup and Linette was a part of the team
For the 2023 United Cup edition, Poland named the former world No. 2 and her husband Dawid Celt as the team captains.
“It’s going to be a challenge for me as well to coach such good players like Iga and Hubert. Playing is one thing, but sitting on the bench is another thing. I don’t know what is more difficult to be honest, so I guess we’ll see there,” Radwanska said before the start of the 2023 United Cup.
That year, Linette was also a part of the team. And the 32-year-old pretty well, winning three of her four singles matches at the event.
In 2024, the Pole struggled with her consistency – posted a 30-26 record – and finished ranked just inside the top-40. However, she did manage to win one title after making it all the way at the WTA 250 tournament in Prague in July.
With Radwanska in her team now, the former world No. 19 will certainly be hoping to have a much better 2025 season.
It will be interesting to see how the 2012 Wimbledon finalist does as a coach and if she can help Linette make some notable results.
