Leaving aside the controversy surrounding the doping issue that will inevitably accompany the player until there is a final verdict, Jannik Sinner has often received praise for his humble character and his work ethic. The legendary former American player Andre Agassi was one of the last to have expressed himself about the young Italian, during a video link held during an event in Italy.
“What struck me about him was his humility and attention to everyone. I adore him. It’s easy to get along with him because he is a very interesting person. There is one thing I particularly appreciate about Sinner. If there is one thing I appreciated so much when I was a tennis player it is the feeling you get when you hit the ball: Jannik does it in a simply perfect way, that feeling of perfection that I was always looking for too,” said Agassi.

The former American champion also praised the young Italian’s coach, Darren Cahill. Jannik’s current coach was in fact able to bring Agassi back to the world number one position at 33 years old.
“Darren always has the right words at the right time, having trained many world number 1s: me, Hewitt, Simona Halep and now Jannik. He is by far the best coach together with my other coach Brad Gilbert,” he added.
We recall Sinner will be one of the favorites at the ATP Finals: his first match in the Ilie Nastase group will be against Alex De Minaur. The other two tennis players with the Italian and the Australian will be Daniil Medvedev and Taylor Fritz.
