The Big Two in women’s tennis will meet in the semi-final at Roland Garros as Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek will battle it out for a place in the final.
One is the reigning world No 1 and the other is the reigning French Open champion while one has already won three trophies in 2025 and the other is yet to reach a final.

Aryna Sabalenka is yet to drop a set so far at this year’s French Open as she beat has beaten Kamilla Rakhimova, Jil Teichmann, Olga Danilovic, Amanda Anisimova and Zheng Qinwen in straight sets.
The three-time Grand Slam winner has spent 07h07m on court at Roland Garros ahead of the semi-final.
Iga Swiatek, meanwhile, has been on court for 8h48m with most of that time coming during her fourth-round win over Elena Rybakina when she needed three sets.
The four-time French Open winner won in two sets against Rebecca Sramkova, Emma Raducanu, Jaqueline Cristian and Elina Svitolina.
Form in 2025
Sabalenka has won the Brisbane International, Miami Open and Madrid Open while she finished runner-up at the Australian Open, Indian Wells Open and Stuttgart Open. Her 2025 win-loss record is 38-6.

Five-time Grand Slam winner Swiatek leads the H2H rivalry 8-4 with five of her wins coming on clay while Sabalenka has won one match on the red dirt.
The Belarusian also won their most recent match as she beat the Pole in straight sets in the Cincinnati Open semi-final last year.
