Bryson DeChambeau didn’t exactly produce a positive reactions after joining LIV Golf, especially from PGA Tour players and managers. However, playing here for some time, Bryson stood out as probably the best player on the controversial Tour.
In addition to his commitment to golf courses, the famous golfer wants to influence the popularization of LIV.
In a conversation with Joe Pompliano, Bryson shared his strategy, expecting positive results. Namely, DeChambeau plans to ‘bring’ people from the street to golf courses, marking it as a three-step process.
“Making it economically viable and more accessible are two massive things,” DeChambeau said. “I’ve got a strategy right now that I’m implementing that people have heard. It’s a strategy that essentially brings people from off the street, to the driving range, to lessons and then to the golf course. It’s a full three-step process, essentially. Getting them to the driving range, getting them lessons and then getting them on the golf course.”
Bryson DeChambeau shares his goals
DeChambeau believes that golf should be accessible in unique locations, such as community centers, where people can go through all three phases in one place. The popular golfer didn’t forget to mention the introductory prices, which will guarantee that people will start playing this sport.
Bryson has a few more plans, and one of them is a project in his hometown where he wants to build a community. DeChambeau emphasized that it is a three-phase process with the goal of building a community.
If his plan bears fruit, and it probably will, Bryson believes that people will have more interest in golf, especially in the place where he is trying to build such a complex. The experienced golfer pointed out that it would take 12 to 15 months to finish everything, of course, if they get all the necessary approvals.
Bryson plans to do a lot more for LIV in the future.
