Camila Giorgi tells her whole truth: tax evasion, escape and fake vaccines

Camila Giorgi tells everything! The former Italian tennis player, after months of speculation, alleged escapes and accusations of various kinds, talked about all the delicate issues that have seen her as the protagonist in recent months, guest on the Italian TV show on Mediaset Verissimo.

Camila first explained that she never escaped from Italy for financial reasons, denying any involvement of her father in the affair.

“I didn’t disappear. I had notified the WTA. I wanted to make an announcement in Paris and everything was organized, but the news of my retirement came out when they saw the list of tennis players subjected to doping tests. They started saying that I had disappeared, but it wasn’t true. For years I wanted to have a different life, because being a tennis player is very demanding. I had already spent months without playing a couple of times, but I always felt the desire to do it again.

One morning I woke up and said enough. I told my father and he was very happy. He has always supported me in everything, he is an incredible person. I lived both in Italy and in the United States. I had never made a definitive choice like I have now. It wasn’t an escape, I was surprised by the news published. I just moved to America. I never ran away,” she confessed.

Regarding the alleged problems with the tax authorities, the former Italian tennis player revealed: “My family, including my father, was not aware of this situation. The problems were created by external people who managed me. They had to solve everything. I was not aware of it. We were not scared, but we changed all the people who manage the financial aspect. My father was only my coach: that has always been his job,” she said.

On the issue relating to fake anti-Covid-19 vaccinations, Camila explained: “I thought I had a human relationship with my doctor. I often went to her office. She got into trouble and my name came up. I’m sorry because we had a good relationship. She had a problem and put some names in the mix, including mine. She wanted to cover up for her cases. I got the vaccine shot and got the Green Pass. I got the vaccine.”
