Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have been the youngsters to watch in the last couple of seasons. Two outstanding rivals have won six Major titles since 2022, challenging Novak Djokovic on the most notable scene and standing on the ATP throne!
Carlos and Jannik and preparing for the first Major of the season in Melbourne. They are among the favorites alongside Alexander Zverev and Novak Djokovic. If they pass their main rivals, we could see them in the title clash at Rod Laver Arena.
The Spaniard praised his great rival and they way he has made him a better player! Alcaraz admitted how tough is to beat Sinner, knowing you have to play at your best to stand a chance against the world’s best player. If that’s not the case, you have 1% chance to beat him!

Carlos and Jannik have already played some memorable matches, and we should expect more of that in the upcoming years. It’s almost impossible to predict the winner when they colide, and the level of tennis is usually scary good, like in Beijing last year.
If Alcaraz and Sinner meet in the Australian Open final, the tennis fans should get another memorable duel. However, they will have to work hard to get there.
“Facing Jannik is simple. I have to play my best tennis to beat him. If you have a bad day against him, it’s almost impossible to win. I’m thinking about that every time we play. Seeing Jannik winning titles and standing at the top of the ranking makes me practice even harder daily. While training, I think about things I must improve to have a chance against him. It’s great for me to have such a great rival, as he pushes me to be a better player,” Carlos Alcaraz said.
