Dreams: Andy Murray – The Mentalist

It is further argued that dreams are starting points and drives and that it is the prerequisites of achievements. However, for every dreamer, there are those whose primary purpose seems to be to stop innovators and bring them down, which are best known as ‘dream stealers’ (DS).

DS are those people who, for one reason or another, manage to question your dreams and goals in life. They might warn you with phrases such as “It’s not possible” or “You are headed for failure.” In most cases, people transfer their anxieties and uncertainties to their visions and goals.

Let’s start by learning how to silence DS. The very first step is having self-belief in your dreams. Remind yourself that all dreams are relatively personal and distinguishing, and everyone has the ability to make those dreams come true. Confidence, then, is the basis for all achievement. If you really believe in your dreams, you will not be easily swayed by other people’s opinions.

It is important to select those with whom to share your dreams so that they will not be killed. Stay close to people who will motivate you and help you make important decisions in your life. Disclose your visions to people who will help you, not discourage you.

There is a positive and negative use of criticism, and to some extent, the positive use of criticism can be considered very beneficial. But then, not all criticism is constructive. In case you meet contradicting opinions or someone discourages you, it has to be a challenge to show that wrong was said. Let the doubts work for them as a motivation towards working further hard and coming out tops regarding the said abilities.

Success is never a straight line you can draw with a straight arrow. It is inclusively full of highs and lows, of failures, and of setbacks. Many people may explain these failures as reasons why your visions should remain just that – a dream. Rather, try to shift your perspective so that you can look at the adversity in your life as a chance at greater development.

Most of history’s greatest things seemed impossible to achieve. Some of the greatest achievements of history were once thought to be impossible. From landing on the moon to creating groundbreaking technologies, these feats were accomplished by those who decided not to listen to negative bandits. They were people who would always dream and perform the unbelievable.

Patience is the magic bullet against those who seek to destroy our dreams. To succeed in any endeavor, it takes many years of concentrated effort. By continuing to pursue your goals, you show that nothing can stop you, not even the potholes and cynicism.

Also, as a last note, dreams are the strongest source of success, but they can be quite delicate if they come across those who doubt and take dreams away. In the dream of achievement, it is therefore important to guard and foster your dreams, to be in the company of people who encourage you, and to turn criticism into inspiration. Remember that there has never been a person who, laying down on the ground and wriggling, achieved success while someone behind him was saying ‘it is impossible.’ Who might expect Andy Murray to recover from playing at the international professional level after his hip surgery?  But who cares about what other people think? Andy did it – he came back!! And now, he is the coach of the Mastermind himself, Novak Djokovic.

Therefore, as you work against your goals, always keep your vision, drain off the skeptics, and use your dream as a lantern for the journey of accomplishment.
