Emma Raducanu rocks special Rafael Nadal t-shirt while going hard this offseason

Emma Raducanu is putting up hard work this offseason and in the latest update she can be seen rocking a special Rafael Nadal t-shirt.

After being sidelined for two months due to a foot injury, the former world No. 10 won three Billie Jean King Cup matches in mid-November. Since she was well-rested, she didn’t feel the need to take a break and she continued to practice and do gym sessions.

This week, Raducanu posted several photos that have been taken recently. And on the first slide of her Instagram post, the 22-year-old wears a Nike t-shirt that has “It only takes everything” written on the back. That t-shirt was specially designed by Nike to pay homage to Nadal before his last tournament at the Davis Cup Finals in Malaga.

Raducanu is going hard this offseason

This offseason, the 2021 US Open champion made one splash addition to her team after hiring Maria Sharapova’s former long-time strength and conditioning coach Yutaka Nakamura. When revealing the news last week, the British tennis star expressed hope that she could become one of “the best athletes” on the Tour and also confirmed that she was feeling very well.

“I feel really strong. I feel really fit. The only thing I can’t really speak for, is I haven’t played that many matches. On the training court I feel amazing, I’m throwing myself around, but it’s different playing matches. I played a few at Fed Cup [now the Billie Jean King Cup], and I felt like I recovered well. I wasn’t tiring in the matches. It would just be good to see as the level increases, and if I have to play more [matches] back-to-back, how I’m going to react,” Raducanu told British reporters last week.

This week, the Briton will fly to Brisbane as she wants to do some work in Australia before the season starts.

Raducanu’s season will start in Auckland and she may also play the Adelaide International before the Australian Open.
