Flag Star: Federer Waves Flag to Start 24 Hours of Le Mans

Roger Federer waved the French Tricolor flag to start the 93rd edition of the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans today.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion and Rolex ambassador Roger Federer waved the French Tricolor flag at 4 p.m. local time to start the 93rd edition of the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans today.

Sporting sunglasses, Federer looked thrilled conducting the flag-waving start to one of the world’s most famous races.

As the Official Timepiece and exclusive major partner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans since 2001, Rolex said in a statement it “recognizes the endeavor and sacrifice it takes to cross the finish line – a journey defined by determination and the pursuit of the extraordinary.”
