Gary Player predicts which two golfers will win The Masters in the future

Gary Player, the golf legend, gives some really interesting comments about big tournaments every year. There are only a few days left until the start, and fans are already excited about what’s coming. Of course, Rory McIlroy will get the most attention, just like every year, considering that he has been looking to win this Major for years.

Gary Player talked to the media about the Champions dinner, revealing who he likes to sit with. In addition, the 89-year-old also revealed who he would like to see at these dinners in the future.

“I sit next to Nick Faldo and Vijay Singh,” Player told Golfweek.

“Rory McIlroy, he will get there, and Bryson DeChambeau because he is a fantastic person and always makes it a point to greet me with a handshake and hat off every time I see him. I hope to greet him the same way at the Champions Dinner one day.”

Fans

Fans of this sport would really like to see the Northern Irishman at these dinners in the future, but the question is how many are open to DeChambeau winning this competition. By joining LIV Golf, Bryson became a hated figure among many, although in recent months, even those who do not like him, have started to feel positive emotions towards him.

As already said, the greatest attention will be directed towards Rory McIlroy, who is trying to remove the curse from himself and help raise the much-desired trophy. Player hopes that Rory can succeed in such a feat, but it will take a lot to come together for such success.

There is not much left until the start of the tournament. The main favorite this year will be Scottie Scheffler, a golfer who will also defend his title. The 28-year-old pointed out that he wants to go down in history by defending his title, but it is clear that he has an extremely difficult task ahead of him.
