When Jon Rahm landed at LIV Golf and created his team, the name was surprising: Legion XIII. There were two reasons that inspired the former world number one to choose it. On the one hand, the group of Romans who were always crushed by the Gallic village of Asterix and Obelix and that the Spaniard, winner of the individual title of the Saudi circuit last week, read in comics when he was a child; and on the other, the Legion 13 Gemina created by Julius Caesar. At the Maridoe in Dallas and without the great captain, sick with the flu, his teammates at times resembled more, despite the final push, those who fought unsuccessfully against the magic potion of Getafix in the invincible villagers than the spirited warriors of one of the most victorious legions of the Roman Empire.
