Junior golf attracts special attention, given that experts from the world of golf, as well as fans, want to get to know the game of some of the greatest talents. The Sage Valley Junior Invitational tournament is one of the more famous golf tournaments for juniors. This year’s edition features Charlie Woods, the son of the legendary Tiger, who scored a score of six shots over par – 78.
Charlie was one shot under par on the first six holes, but made five bogeys and one double on the remaining 11 holes, and is 11 shots behind the leader of this tournament.
This tournament includes 36 players in men’s and 24 in women’s, with many talents who have the potential to write the history of this sport in the years ahead.
Sage Valley Golf Club is the host of this tournament.
The leader of the tournament for now is Joshua Bai, with a score of three under par – 69. At the top there are several names interesting to the golf fans, but in the end only one will go home with the trophy.
Last year’s winner, Giovanni Binaghi has not impressed so far, with a score of one over par after 18 holes.
It’s really hard to estimate who will win at this year’s edition, considering the number of quality golfers.
Women’s category
Regarding the female competition, Pimpisa Rubrong and Aphrodite Deng are the leaders of this competition.
It is also interesting that Kai Trump, the granddaughter of the US President Donald Trump, is also part of this competition, but she was not so successful considering the 17-over-par round of 89.
Kai Trump is in the center of attention in recent days for a bizarre reason. Namely, the mother of this teenage girl is, judging by the media reports, in a relationship with Tiger Woods, Charlie’s father, which makes this tournament interesting. There are many connections in the world of golf, but Charlie and Kai are primarily focused on achieving a great result and building their career the right way.
