On signs Julieta Pareja, joining forces with Swiatek and Stusek in women’s tennis

Swiss sportswear brand On, backed by tennis legend Roger Federer, has officially added 16-year-old American tennis prodigy Julieta Pareja to its roster of sponsored athletes. She becomes the first American female player to sign with the company and joins an elite lineup that includes Iga Swiatek, Ben Shelton, Joao Fonseca, as well as German teen Julia Stusek and Swiss junior standout Henry Bernet.

Born in Carlsbad, California, and of Colombian descent, Pareja made headlines earlier this season at the Bogota WTA 250 event, where she reached the semifinals as a qualifier. By doing so, she became the youngest WTA semifinalist since Coco Gauff’s breakthrough in Linz in 2019 and the first player born in 2009 to compete in a WTA main draw.

Announcing the partnership on Instagram, Pareja wrote, “Playing the sport I love, getting to know the world, and representing the best product with the best people… Dream On,” while sporting the On Summer Court Crop Top and Summer Courtside Pleat Skirt.

Currently ranked No. 322 on the WTA Tour and sitting at No. 7 in the ITF junior rankings, Pareja continues to build momentum. She recently reached the quarterfinals in both singles and doubles at the Roland Garros junior event. The week before, she advanced to the final at the J500 junior tournament in Milan, scoring wins over both eventual French Open junior champion Lilli Tagger and runner-up Hannah Klugman.

Feliciano Robayna, head of tennis athlete management at On, expressed enthusiasm about the signing: “At 16, she’s already shown the world what she can do on the court, and we cannot wait to support her in what’s to come in her very bright future.” (source: Tennis.com)
