Retired Serbian tennis player Jovana Jovic, formerly known as Jaksic, and her husband Vujadin Jovic welcomed their first child together this October. The 31-year-old former WTA player shared the joyful news on Instagram, revealing that they have a baby boy named Marko.
Jovana posted about his arrival 15 days after giving birth on October 5, 2024, expressing her love in the caption:

She shared a touching photo of her newborn’s tiny foot, tagging her husband and the location as Sacramento, California.
Jovana and Vujadin have enjoyed a long and loving relationship, dating for three years before tying the knot in 2019. Despite the 23-year age difference, their bond seems to thrive, with Vujadin previously celebrating his new role as a grandfather in June 2023. He joyfully introduced his first grandchild, Malina Grace Jovic, on Instagram, writing, “Newest addition to the Jovic family. Blessed to welcome my first grandchild—healthy and mild-mannered as can be.” In the comments back then, Jovana hinted at their plans for a baby, making their pregnancy news in April 2024 a delightful confirmation.
Jovana’s tennis career reached its pinnacle in 2014 when she competed in the Monterrey final, where she faced compatriot Ana Ivanovic. Her highest career ranking was No. 102, achieved in May 2014. Her journey in professional tennis came to a close in March 2021, culminating in her official retirement announcement in March 2022.
