Tiger Woods and Bryson DeChambeau in TGL? DeChambeau reveals his ambitions

Bryson DeChambeau is a golfer hungry for success. Although he is part of LIV Golf, his ambitions for the future are huge. The 31-year-old golfer is currently performing in India for the first time, wanting to explore this country, get to know the culture, but primarily achieve a good result in the tournament.

Bryson DeChambeau is often mentioned as a figure who could join TGL, the first technology league in golf history, created by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.

In an interview with the media, Bryson admitted that such an option does not seem bad, considering that TGL can help the world of golf to step into a brighter future. Although he is not sure if he would be chosen to perform there, DeChambeau is open to such opportunities.

“That would be interesting,” he said, as quoted by Golf Digest

“I think TGL has an interesting opportunity. I’m all about anything to grow the game, so if it’s helping grow the game, fantastic. I don’t know all the numbers behind it.

Would it be fun? Yeah, it could be fun. I don’t know if they’d pick me though, I have no idea. I’ve got a (LIV) team over here, the Crushers GC, come on. The Crushers would be a part of that!”

Is Tiger open to Bryson coming to TGL?

Reactions to his statements were not particularly positive. There are many who are against his joining such a challenge, feeling that Bryson is a golfer who has chosen his own path. Fans don’t want him to have any connections with the PGA Tour, but it’s clear that more important figures on the golf scene will ask about it.

Tiger Woods has softened his attitude towards LIV Golf and the players who perform there, which does not necessarily mean that he is open to their arrival. This would create a competitive spirit, but at the same time it could also create dissatisfaction among the fans. It is important that Tiger and Rory weigh this situation and make the best decision.

Does Tiger Woods really have Bryson in mind as an option for the future, and will TGL eventually change its philosophy? It will be interesting to see.
