World no. 1 Jannik Sinner is back home for holidays. The Italian will spend Christmas in South Tyrol with his family before heading to Australia for the first Major of the new season. Jannik and his team spent a couple of weeks in Dubai, training ahead of the 2025 challenges.
Sinner shared a video with his fans, enjoying the picturesque scenery in the snowy Dolomites – the habitat he likes so much!

Sinner will not play official tournaments before the Australian Open. He will travel to Melbourne in a couple of days, and we will see him at Rod Laver Arena against Alexei Popyrin on January 7. Jannik will be the defending champion at the Australian Open.

The young Italian started the previous season ranked 4th and conquered men’s tennis in style! Rising above everyone else, the Italian brought home eight ATP titles and the Davis Cup trophy, becoming the 29th world no. 1 after Roland Garros.
Entering the 2024 season with one notable title by his name, Sinner clinched six within 11 months! The 22-year-old claimed his first Major trophy in Melbourne over Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev. He started the year with a 16-0 run before falling to Carlos Alcaraz in Indian Wells.

Sinner bounced back in Miami, lifting a trophy in style and extending his lead on the ATP Race list. Jannik reached the Roland Garros semi-final, losing to Carlos in a five-setter but earning enough points to dethrone Novak Djokovic and become world no. 1.
The Italian fell to Daniil Medvedev in the Wimbledon quarter-final after struggling physically. He missed the Olympic Games and lost the Canada Masters crown. Jannik raised his level and conquered Cincinnati and the US Open, adding the second Major trophy to his collection.

Not stopping there, Sinner lost the Beijing Open final to Alcaraz after a thriller. He went all the way in Shanghai, winning the third Masters 1000 crown of the season over Novak Djokovic. Jannik defeated three rivals at the Six Kings Slam in Riydah, taking home $6 million!
Sinner traveled to Paris but withdrew from the final Masters 1000 event of the season. He saved his best tennis for the ATP Finals, beating five rivals in straight sets and lifting his eighth ATP trophy of the season. Jannik crowned his season with the Davis Cup title defense in Malaga.
