Jannik Sinner is almost ready to fly to Australia, where his 2025 season will begin. The world number 1 must immediately defend his title at the Australian Open, scheduled at Melbourne Park from 12 to 26 January, and all opponents will try to beat him after the exceptional results obtained last season.

The 2-time Grand Slam champion practiced hard in Dubai in December, before returning to Italy to spend the Christmas holidays. The Italian ace has resumed training in Monte Carlo in recent days, so as to refine the last details in view of a very important season for his career.
The 23-year-old from Sesto Pusteria will try to achieve even more prestigious results than those of 2024 and hopes that his future will not be affected by the verdict of the CAS in Lausanne, with the trial expected to take place at the beginning of March according to the latest rumors.
Sinner says goodbye to 2024
Before the start of the Happy Slam, Jannik will play two exhibition matches at Melbourne Park against Alexei Popyrin and Stefanos Tsitsipas next week. Like last year, Sinner preferred not to play any official tournament before the AO wanting to devote all his time to training and physical preparation.

The world No.1 will have to defend almost 12,000 points this year and it will be important for him not to have injuries. His physical condition has improved a lot in the last twelve months, with the exception of a hip problem suffered during the spring.
Meanwhile, the Italian champion said goodbye to 2024 through a nice video in which he shot his last serve of the year. The 23-year-old from Sesto Pusteria had made the same video in 2023, but this time he chose a kick serve over a slice.
