It finally happened! Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray have started their partnership at the Australian Open. The Serb trained under the Briton’s guidance in Melbourne. Djokovic embraced a practice session with Carlos Alcaraz at Rod Laver Arena.
The Serb is preparing for his 20th Australian Open, hoping to raise his level and chase the 11th title Down Under. After battling against Novak many times, especially in Australia, Andy will now try to guide his great friend toward the 25th Major title.

Novak parted ways with Goran Ivanisevic in March last season after nearly five years. He needed a high-profile name as his new coach, and he revealed Andy Murray as the leading name in his box for 2025.
The most accomplished player of all time wanted to train with someone who had been in his shoes and knows how to chase notable titles and what it takes to get them. The 24-time Major winner can not learn anything new about the game he has in his little finger.

However, the positive chemistry at the top-tier level of competition is very important for him, and he and Andy will know how to forge it! We are all intrigued to see how things will work when Novak becomes emotional and throws bad words at his coaching box.
Goran Ivanisevic knew how to handle that, and Murray will have to learn to absorb that negative energy and send back positive vibes. Andy ended his career at the Olympic Games in Paris. A few months later, he received a call from Novak with an offer he could not reject.
Thus, the Briton returned to the professional circuit less than half a month after leaving it! The Serb completed the game of tennis at the 2024 Paris Olympics, adding the missing 15th notable crown to his collection.

He will seek more Major glory in 2025, returning his focus to the most notable tournaments. Novak and Andy have sparked curiosity among fans and players, with many wondering how the two former rivals will navigate their new relationship.
One thing is certain: they will do everything to make it successful and memorable! How many eyes will follow the new partnership in Melbourne? Well, many! Is this a recipe for Novak’s success at the first Major of the season? Only time will tell.
However, the tennis world can not wait to see the Serb in action with the familiar face in his coaching box. It’s the new ground for both, and let’s see if they can turn it into a success. The Australian Open is right around the corner, and we are ready!
