Carlos Alcaraz is preparing to chase his third consecutive Indian Wells title. The Spaniard is celebrating a notable milestone this week, collecting 150 consecutive top-10 weeks. At 21 years and ten months, Carlos is the youngest player to achieve that since Rafael Nadal in 2007!
Alcaraz cracked the top-10 in April 2022 at 18 years and 11 minutes! It has been an incredible ride for him ever since, with 130 top-3 weeks on his tally and plenty more to come! The young Spaniard wrote history books in 2022.
He crowned his incredible season with a Major crown and Masters 1000 shileds, leaving everyone behind and becoming the youngest world no. 1. He wrapped up the year ahead of Rafael Nadal and stood as the youngest year-end no. 1 player in ATP history.

Carlos could not keep the ATP throne in 2023, losing it to Novak Djokovic. However, the young gun collected more notable records and embraced a full top-10 season at 20. Alcaraz missed the Australian Open and bounced back in Indian Wells, celebrating his third Masters 1000 crown at 19.
The home favorite defended his titles in Barcelona and Madrid, staying neck and neck with Djokovic in the no. 1 chase. They met in the Roland Garros semi-final, and the youngster cracked under pressure. He felt cramps in his entire body from the third set and ended on the losing side.

Carlos presented his enormous talent at Queen’s and Wimbledon. Entering the prestigious events after barely playing on grass before, the Spaniard lifted two titles and wrote history books. Alcaraz chased his first Wimbledon crown against the seven-time winner, Novak Djokovic.
The youngster prevailed in five sets and lifted his second Major crown at 20. Carlos experienced a defeat versus Novak in a brilliant Cincinnati Masters final after squandering his chances. He lost the ground a bit and fell in the semi-final in New York, Beijing and Turin.

He completed the season in the top-2 and wished for more big titles in 2024. Alcaraz claimed four ATP trophies in the season behind us, including two Majors! The Spaniard defeated Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev at Roland Garros to become the youngest player with Major crown on all three surfaces.
Not stopping there, Carlos defended his Wimbledon title over Novak Djokovic, standing as the proud owner of four Major trophies after barely turning 21! The Spaniard suffered a massive blow in the Olympic Games final, losing to Djokovic in two tie breaks and bringing home the silver medal.

Carlos defeated Jannik Sinner in a thrilling Beijing Open final for his fourth and last title of the season. He closed it ranked 3rd behind Sinner and Zverev. Alcaraz chased a Career Grand Slam at the Australian Open at the beginning of 2025.
He lost to Djokovic in the quarter-final and bounced back in Rotterdam, conquering his first indoor event. The Spaniard will seek his third consecutive Indian Wells crown, hoping to defend last year’s points and remain in touch with Sinner and Alcaraz.
